BLM is soliciting public comments as it prepares a new management plan for the Harquahala Mountains Wilderness Area and the surrounding BLM lands northwest of Phoenix, including the Harquahala Mountain Scenic Byway and Harquahala Peak Smithsonian Observatory. This is your opportunity to weigh in on how you would like to see the area managed, what recreational opportunities are appropriate in this area, and what issues you would like to see BLM address.
